MerchHoster ("we," "us") operates a platform that lets creators design and sell custom merchandise to their audiences. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum necessary to run stores, process orders, and pay creators.
Information we collect
Creators: name, email, store details, payout and tax information collected by our payment processor, and design content you upload or generate.
Customers: name, shipping address, email, and order details needed to fulfill and ship a purchase. Card details are handled solely by our PCI-certified payment processor — we never see or store full card numbers.
Automatically: basic device, log, and usage data to keep the service secure and working.
How we use information
To create and operate stores, process and ship orders, calculate and send creator payouts, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us operate — for example our payment processor and our print-and-ship fulfillment partner — and only as needed to perform their function. We do not sell personal information.
Data retention & security
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and protect it with encryption in transit and at rest plus access controls.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
